Play Whot — Naija Card Game

About Play Whot — Naija Card Game

PlayWhot brings Naija Whot — the legendary Nigerian card game — online. Fast matches, real strategy, and friends from anywhere.

If you grew up on Whot, or you love UNO, Crazy Eights, or Mau Mau, you'll feel right at home in 30 seconds.

⭐ WHAT IS NAIJA WHOT? Whot is a shedding card game played across West Africa for generations. Match cards by shape — Circle, Cross, Square, Star, Triangle — or by number. The first player with an empty hand wins, but action cards (Pick Two, Pick Three, Hold On, Suspension, General Market, and the Whot wildcard) keep every round on a knife edge.

🎮 PLAY ANY WAY YOU LIKE • Quick Play — get matched with a real opponent in seconds • Offline vs Bots — three difficulties, no internet needed, great for learning • 2-Player & Multiplayer — face one rival or a full table of up to four • Friend Matches — generate a room code and share it on WhatsApp • Tournaments — daily and weekly brackets across skill divisions, free to enter • Ranked Ladder — climb the global ELO leaderboard • Clans — team up, climb together, and play clan matches • Watch Live — spectate ongoing games with full card view and emoji reactions

🃏 EASY TO LEARN, HARD TO MASTER A quick, casual card game for family and friends — with enough depth (bluffing, card-counting, defending against Pick Two stacks) to keep competitive players ranked and hungry.

🛡️ FAIR AND RELIABLE Every match runs on an authoritative server, so a slow connection on the other side can't steal your win. Disconnect mid-match? You'll reconnect to the same hand — no forfeits for catching the elevator.

⭐ FREE TO PLAY PlayWhot is free, with optional ads you can remove with a one-time purchase. No mandatory mid-match videos. No gambling. No real-money prizes — all coins and cosmetics stay in the game.

♿ ACCESSIBILITY TalkBack-labelled cards, dyslexia-aware fonts, high-contrast theme options, and a one-tap rules sheet.

🔒 PRIVACY We collect only what we need to run the game and the leaderboards. Delete your account anytime from Settings → Account. Full policy at https://playwhot.com/privacy
